About Salle Cortot
Inaugurated in 1929, Salle Cortot is a landmark of Parisian musical heritage and a masterpiece of Art Deco design.
Commissioned by the legendary pianist Alfred Cortot and designed by the pioneering architect Auguste Perret—the “master of reinforced concrete”—the hall was conceived as a “musical instrument” in its own right.
Its unique, narrow rectangular shape and wood-lined interior create world-renowned acoustics, offering an unparalleled intimacy between the performer and the audience. For nearly a century, this historic stage has served as a sanctuary for the world’s greatest virtuosos, making it the perfect European home for the next generation of musical excellence.
