WE INVITE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION
instrumentalists (piano, strings, winds), vocalists and chamber ensembles all nationalities age 5 to 26
AWARDS
PROFESSIONAL VIDEO RECORDINGS
GOLD and SILVER MEDALS WINNERS will be invited for professional video recordings in the New York area with receiving the medals and certificates. The video records will be available for performers to download. The recording date and a professional recording studio will be announced separately.
ALBUM of the YOUNG GIFTED PERFORMERS 2023
The professional video recordings will be included in the “Album of the Young Gifted Performers 2023“, which will be published on the YouTube platform as well as on the AADGT website.
MEDALS and CERTIFICATES
GOLD and SILVER medals winners will be awarded medals and certificates during professional recordings at the studio
3rd PRIZE winners will be awarded digital certificates
HOW TO APPLY
The application must contain the following:
1) Competition’s Registration Form
Ensembles’ members need to submit a registration form individually.
2) YouTube recordings
3) Application Fee
APPLICATIONS DEADLINE
Application Deadline: February 15, 2023
Applicants will be notified via email of their results no later than March 7, 2023.
AUDITION
YouTube auditions are open to instrumentalists (piano, strings, winds), vocalists, and chamber ensembles all nationalities and are divided into the age categories between 5 and 26: Group A (Age 5 – 6), Group B (Age 7 – 8), Group C (Age 9 – 10), Group D (Age 11 – 12), Group E (Age 13-14), Group F (Age 14 – 15), Group G (Age 16 – 18), Group H (Age 18-26). Recorded performances need to be sent as a link to YouTube
REPERTOIRE
Competition participants need to perform one piece (an additional selection of 2nd piece is optional) from a standard concert’s repertory from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern Era and performed from memory. Sonata/Sonatina movement or a part of another cyclic form (Suite, Prelude & Fugue, etc.) is also acceptable.
Soloists must perform selections from memory. Ensembles and duet groups may use the score.
REPERTOIRE’s TIME LIMIT: 6 min
VIDEO RECORDS (Submission Quality Guidelines)
* YouTube recordings should be fair representations of the Applicant’s abilities.
* The recordings are not required to be of professional quality.
* All applicants must perform from memory (except Ensemble) and no-repeat
* The recording must be clearly labeled with your name.
* The recording must be free of background noise and distortion

Registration fee: $160
Solo Performance: $160
Additional fee for 2nd (optional) selection: $50
Member of an ensemble: $85
Additional fee for 2nd (optional) selection: $50 total for Ensemble
