AADGT FESTIVAL “PASSION OF MUSIC 2021” has been established as an entrée into the world of classical music performance for those who deeply love music.
WE INVITE TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR FESTIVAL instrumentalists (piano, strings, winds), vocalists and chamber ensembles all nationalities age 5 to 26
THE FESTIVAL AWARDS
GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS WINNERS will be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall).
Dates of the concerts to be confirmed. Medals and certificates will be awarded during the concerts
3rd PRIZE WINNERS will be awarded certificates.
AADGT SCHOLARSHIPS will be awarded to participate
* in International Academy of Music, Italy: for violists (one $1000 scholarship ), violinists (one $300 scholarship), and pianists ( three $300 scholarships) https://www.internationalacademyofmusic.com/italy-main.html

HOW TO APPLY
The application must contain the following:
A) Registration Form (Ensembles’ members need to submit a registration form individually).
B) YouTube recording
C) Registration Fee
Application Deadline: March 14, 2021
Applicants will be notified of the result via email no later than March 20, 2021.
FESTIVAL AUDITION
YouTube auditions are open to instrumentalists (piano, strings, winds), vocalists and chamber ensembles all nationalities and are divided into the age categories between 5 and 26: Group A (Age 5 – 6), Group B (Age 7 – 8), Group C (Age 9 – 10), Group D (Age 11 – 12), Group E (Age 13-14), Group F (Age 14 – 15), Group G (Age 16 – 18), Group H (Age 18-26). Recorded performances need be sent as a link to YouTube ( in rare cases can be mailed as a DVD).
REPERTOIRE
Festival participants need to perform one piece (an additional selection of 2nd piece is optional) from a standard repertory from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern Era and performed from memory. Sonata/Sonatina movement or a part of another cyclic form (Suite, Prelude & Fugue, etc.) is also acceptable.
VIDEO RECORDS (Submission Quality Guidelines)
* YouTube recording should be fair representations of the Applicant’s abilities.
* The recordings are not required to be of professional quality.
* All applicants must perform from memory (except Ensemble) and no-repeat
* The recording must be clearly labeled with your name.
* The recording must be free of background noise and distortion
FEES All fees are not refundable
A) Registration Fee Deadline: March 14, 2021
Solo Performance: $150
Additional fee for 2nd (optional) selection: $50
B) Recital Participation Fee Deadline.
The Recital Participation Fee includes four complimentary tickets.
